Answer: It seems tear free.. does not seem to bother my 18 month old when used on face. It definitely does not sting when I use it myself. We do not use it as a cleanser though. I use weleda calendula baby shampoo and wash and later on follow with this cream bath. Since it leaves the skin very moisturized, we could skip applying any moisturizing lotions especially on a squirmy toddler.. hope this help -
