It only takes a very small dab rubbed between the hands and run through the hair to give it shine and sparkle. The product seems to have been around for a long time (at least 70 years) and has pleased customers for generations. It helps control flyaway hair and makes hair straight and shiny. However, the product has a strong odor that dissipates in a few hours. It is advisable to use it last thing in the shower when hair is still really wet and wring out any excess. Most customers who have used the product for years claim that it brings out the best in their gray hair. Unfortunately, VO5 sheer Hairdressing for anti-frizz and shine has been discontinued, despite being one of the best products for people with fine, frizzy hair. The gray hair conditioning hairdress is heavy, thick, and greasy, making it unsuitable for people with thin, aging hair. VO5 should bring back the other product.
