Answer: The display is always on. When it’s dark all you have to do is press both of the buttons at the same time and it lights up. Nice and easy. -

Answer: I didn’t like the watch. I returned it. -

Answer: Legibility is great in the sun...also big numbers easy to read. -

Answer: Yes, it has an alarm feature. It also has dual time stop watch and chrono. It's very comfortable light weight and at times I forget I'm wearing it is so lightweight. Water resistant it has a night light function time date and day stamp 12 or 24hrs configuration. Very good buy for the price durable stylish you're gonna love it just as I do. -

Can you lock the buttons so that they don’t get pressed accidentally?
Answer: Unfortunately no, but like most Nixon watches, the buttons require a bit of oomph to activate. Unless you find yourself banging your arms against the walls a lot, you should be good. -
Question:
Does this tell you high and low tides?
Answer: No. It’s a really nice surface water sports watch designed for bright sunny days so the face pops in bright glaring light, but can be difficult to see in the dark.
