The CableCreation Mini SAS cable is a 1 meter or 2-meter long cable that connects a Mini SAS Host-controller to a 4 SATA Target-backplane. The cable has a Mini SAS 26Pin SFF-8088 Male connector on one end and four SATA 7Pin Female connectors on the other end. The cable is designed to work with SATA drives only and provides a good transfer rate of up to 2GB per second when 4 SSDs are combined. The cable works perfectly with a Lsi megarade controller installed in an old 990FX motherboard with an AMD FX8370 running at 4.6 GHZ. The customers have reported that the cable is easy to install and works great. The thin wires of the cable may seem flimsy, but they work fine and are pocket-friendly.
