  • Question: Can the 3lb blanket be used on a 6 month old?

    Answer: At 10 percent of body weight as the rule, you should be waiting until your child is at least 30 pounds and 3 years old for a 3 pound blanket weight. My child is just at this cutoff and I am still concerned with the safety of it. SIDS is still a valid concern at 6 months especially if you add a heavy or large blanket they cannot escape from during the night.
  • Question: What are the loops used for?

    Answer: Sorry I’m not aware of any ‘loops’. There is a medium-sized tag on it which has laundering instructions (cold wash, lay flat to dry).
  • Question: Do all sizes come with a lap blanket?

    Answer: It only comes with one blanket. It's of good size and well made. I love the one I bought. It works perfectly for my daughter. But it only comes with the one blanket as described...
  • Question: Is it just the cover or is it the cover and the weighted part?

    Answer: It's fleece on one side and cotton on the other. You can buy a cover for it but it isn't necessary.
  • Question: Are the glass beads in the blanket lead free?

    Answer: I don’t know
  • Question: What weight would you get for a 3 yo who weighs 28 pounds? It seems like I could get the 3 lb or 5 lb?

    Answer: Go with the 5 lb. I got a 5 lb for my 4 and 6 year old and a 3 lb for my 1 year old, but the 1 year old likes her sisters blankets better. I wish I got her the 5 lb one.
  • Question: What material is this made out of?

    Answer: The bumpy side is 100% polyester and the other side is 100% cotton
  • Question: Can the blanket go in the dryer?

    Answer: No
  • Question: How many pounds would you use for a 5 yr old girl?

    Answer: The 5lbs blanket has been great for us for a 5 year old but he is a big kid. So 3lbs should be great.
