Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Volume 1 is a great product for those who value physical releases over digital releases. The DVD arrived undamaged and in excellent condition. The first set of 5 episodes on DVD has very high re-watch value, as do both seasons so far. Character work and story design are brilliant; the story is heavily character-driven. The set contains good copy protection. However, it would be great if there were one or two more episodes in this volume and some small extras or more special features. There are some re-occurring elements over both seasons such as nudity, racism, ideology, and moral debates. This is an anime that is not to be missed.
