Seal Doc Concrete Countertop Sealer is a water-based, non-toxic sealer suitable for use on various surfaces such as concrete, tiles, and pavers. It is transparent and dries with a gloss finish. The smoother the roller applied, the better, as a rough one can lead to bubbling. When diluted with water at a ratio of 50:50, it provides a satin finish. It is suitable for a birdbath, and for making small planters using tiles to seal the inside. However, there is no proof if it is suitable for terrazzo tiles; user recommends not using it. The sealer protected the concrete paver outside from rain, but detailed instructions are not included. A customer reported that after applying it on the concrete surrounding their bathtub, mildew growth was promoted. Multiple coats of sealer and ample drying time were recommended for maximum protection. Although easy to use and providing great protection against the elements, the product may not meet expectations as it was reported to peel and promote mildew growth.
