One user applied annual coats to prevent weed growth between pavers. It works well to stabilize the sand, but some users recommend applying enough liquid to ensure sand stability. One application should suffice, but applying more could make the surface slippery. It is also best not to use it on decomposed granite that is less than 1.5 inches wide. Pros include locking polymeric sand in place and drying hard like concrete.
