    Answer: If you are referring to hot shoe cover then you need to take it off in order to sue this cord.
  • Question: What about the d800?

    Answer: It should. If it doesn't, send it back. Says it works with the D780. If anything works with a D780, it will work with a D800.
  • Question: Will this work with nikon d3100?

    Answer: I am pretty sure it will. Check the hot shoe contacts on your D3100 and compare with the image of the TTL cord. I had D5200 and this cord worked flawlessly. I am 99% positive it will work on D3100 sinc3 Nikon has not changed their flash contacts for the last 15 years or so.
  • Question: Will this be compatible with the Nikon SB-500?

    Answer: Yes, it fits Nikon SB-500.
  • Question: Will this work on a Nikon N2000?

    Answer: It should work. If I am not mistaken N2000 is same camera as F301 and it did have the TTL hot shoe. TTL hot shoe have not changed much except in the newer cameras have added auto Zoom capability (depending on the flash model). So the short answer is, it should work.
  • Question: How long is the cord in its relaxed state? I'm assuming the 1.3m in the specs is for when it is stretched out.

    Answer: Yes that 1.3m is when stretched out but must of the applications for this cord is when used with a flash bracket so the cable will never be fully stretched out.
  • Question: Will this work with the nikon d7000?

    Answer: It should. It works on my D3400 and D780.
