FRIZZLIFE Under-Sink & Countertop Filtration PX500-A Editorial Review
The Frizzlife Tankless Reverse Osmosis System comes in two models - the PX500 and PX500-A, with the PX500-A model featuring an alkaline/remineralized post filter. The system is capable of removing over 94% of TDS from water, including hardness, but it is recommended to install a pre-filter or water softener before the system to prolong filter life. The system can restore minerals and adjust pH level while polishing water taste. The faucet has a 4.5" long stem, but if the countertop is thicker, the user will have to replace the stem. The system cannot feed a water ionizer device but can be hooked up to the fridge using the Frizzlife IMC-1 kit, and if the distance between the filter and the appliance exceeded 15 ft, users may need a mini-tank to boost up water pressure. Customers had mixed experiences with customer support and installation. While some found the video tutorials helpful, others had difficulty detaching the faucet stem from the faucet. On the bright side, the customers say the system has a superb water quality, and it tastes better than some bottled water. The system is easy to install and comes with clear instructions, while the packaging is also great. The only downside is that it produces a loud noise, but the users believe that it is a great machine overall. One customer had a defective unit, but they got a refund after returning the unit, although it took three weeks. They would later order another unit and pay a plumber to install it again.
