    Answer: If the crank went into the spindle as far as the bolt will tighten it, the space between the bottom bracket tube and the chain ring is usually larger than if you would have a bsa bottom bracket. Pictures would help get a better answer.

    Answer: I have been using this on a multi speed bike (3/32" chain ) which is narrower than a single speed (1/8" chain) it will work on your freewheel.

    Answer: Make sure the BB square taper is oriented correctly. These are 45° to the crank arm

    Answer: If you are concerned about weight, get carbon cranks. These are about a pound.

    Answer: I used the same crankset on a mongoose malus fat bike. Had to buy a square taper crank removal tool, but the install went great with no issues. I ordered the 32tooth setup.
  • Question: I have a 26in fat tire electric bike. Will this fit? There is 42 teeth on the current one. Only other marking is a prowheel 2n170

    Answer: As long as you have a square taper bottom bracket, the arms will fit. Also, the only other measurement you will need is what’s known as the Bolt Center Diameter (BCD). Remove your chainring from your bike and take the measurement from the center of one bolt hole and measure to the bolt hole center on the opposite side. If it measures right around 104mm (-4 in), then your chainring will also fit. If you want to use a smaller chainring, you will likely need to shorten your chain. There are YT videos online to show you how to do that. Also, note that this crank arm can really push the chainring out from the frame of the bike. It’s just because of the way it’s shaped. The benefit is that it gives you a slightly wider stance while pedaling (I found it more comfortable), but you may need to fidget with your gears for a while because the chain line will be way off.
  • Question: How do I adjust the chain centering? Is there spacers to put somewhere?

    Answer: The chain ring mounting area has two sides. Placing them on either side will move the chain ring about 10mm. Do not use washers between the crank and the ring because there are no chain ring bolts that are long enough.

    Answer: It fits a square taper BB
