The Intex Mariner 4 inflatable raft is a popular choice amongst boating enthusiasts looking for a strong and sturdy boat. The raft comes with a Hull Identification Number located at the bottom of the capacity label on the stern, which can be used to generate the “Boat Ownership Certificate”. This certificate is required in most states if you intend to use a motor. The raft comes with a carry bag, but many buyers have suggested that it is best to buy an additional duffle bag to carry the floor. Although the product is hard to pack down, it is easy to inflate and deflate. The raft is made of strong material that can survive rocky river beds and ocean swells; however, the oars supplied with the raft are of poor quality, so it is better to purchase additional paddles to get the optimal performance from the raft. The raft is suitable for a maximum of four people, and a 36” shaft length motor is recommended. The instructions are not easy to follow for inexperienced individuals. Some buyers faced issues with leaks and had to return the product, so it’s important to inspect the product before heading to the water. Buyers looking for a lightweight inflatable raft that can be easily carried in a trunk will love Mariner 4.
