The blue dye on the pads, which is independent of the repellent, may fade before the repellent, but the repellent remains functional for 3-4 hours. While the product may not have an expiration date, it is advisable to store the butane cartridges and repellent mats in their original box in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat.
