Answer: My husband uses it on his shoulder blade where his muscle was cut into and it seems to help his muscle. Does not give the hot or cold you would get from a pack, but it helps some. If you can get hemp heaven which also helps. -

Answer: I am not sure of putting it in the freezer. T just store mine under the cabinet with the lid on tight and it last for months.
