Answer: The adapter supports Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, as well as Linux. -
Question:
If the card is usb 3.1, why is it only pushing 5gbps?
Answer: It is USB 3.1 Gen 1 (old name USB 3.0). It is not USB 3.1 Gen 2 (old name USB 3.1). USB IF changed the name for USB 3.0 to USB 3.1 Gen 1. Strictly speaking, there is no USB 3.0 anymore.
