The Taidacent SHT30 RS485 Modbus RTU Temperature and Humidity Sensor is easy to install, set up and work with. It gives accurate readings in line with other sensors of the same grade. The Modbus configuration allows for flexibility, and the datasheet is downloadable from the supplier. The price is excellent for the quality, with the only downsides being that the instructions may not match some PLC hardware and that the temperature readings are only in Celsius. However, temperature readings can be converted to Fahrenheit by multiplying by 1.8 and adding 32. Some customers have also reported not needing to use the red wire connection.
