ZIP System Liquid Flash is a rubber-like material that is sticky to itself, ZIP sheathing, and other wood-based materials. Once it dries, it behaves somewhat like silicone caulking. It can bond well to concrete blocks, windows, gypsum, and wood, and it is excellent for sealing surfaces to prevent moisture and water from seeping in. However, this product is not recommended for sealing dry rot exterior trims that have gaps and cracks on exterior sidings. The cartridge comes with a plastic nozzle that threads on after you cut the sealing tip off, but several customers complained about not receiving any applicator tips, and others found it hard to push the caulking paste out of the tube. It is advisable to experiment with this product yourself with different materials before using it.
