They are made of cast iron and fit perfectly on a cast iron grill. However, they are not as heavy as the originals, have a different grate configuration that rusts quickly, and are a flat design unlike the originals. Another user found them to be the best fitting grates they have found so far, but they had to shave them down a little to fit properly.
