Featuring a PVC lining, the poncho is 100 percent waterproof, making it ideal for areas with torrential downpours such as the Pacific Northwest. The seven feet long poncho is made of thick material that won't fly up with wind and has internal tie string, snaps along each side, and tie-off grommets. However, since it's not a gore-tex material, it doesn't breathe well and can become condensed. It is necessary to beware of storage and usage of PVC-coated ponchos as they release chemicals that cause reproductive harm, especially to men and possible cancer. The camo pattern is awesome and their MIL-TEC brand ensures good quality.
