The TotalPass P600 Employee Time Clock is an easy-to-use employee time clock made in the USA that is ready to use out-of-the-box. The clock can be managed via USB, network, Wi-Fi, or web and provides several time clock entry options, including PIN-keypad, RFID badge, or web. The product is reliable as it has an internal battery so employee punch data is stored even during a power outage. The clock also stores data, even when there is no connection to the network, Wi-Fi, or web. Customer care is available via email for technical support. Employees can customize their PIN number, and the clock recognizes proximity cards, which requires the use of a third-party badge reader via USBport.The external badge reader must have a USB interface and emulate keypad input to function with the clock. The clock can download payroll information in CSV format. However, some customers have faced connectivity issues with the clock when connecting via Wi-Fi. While technical support advised that the clock requires a hardwired or its own dedicated Wi-Fi network, it may not be practical or acceptable for a $450 time clock.
