The antennas cover all 3G/4G/LTE frequencies in the 698-960 & 1710-2700 MHz bands, and are best placed at least 2ft apart on a flat, horizontal surface. Though they are not optimized for the USA Helium frequency (915 MHz). They plug directly into a Verizon Jetpack, but do not require an external power source. The Consensus is that the product provides a slight, but noticeable improvement in signal quality, improving the overall quality, stability, and reliability of the connection by 10-15%. Some customers had to buy additional parts, such as a bigger magnet to keep it in place, and others had difficulty keeping it plugged in. Despite this, the product was helpful in resolving connection issues for some customers using it with a MiFi 8800L or a netgear nighthawk m5.
