The EverSaw is a lightweight and affordable saw, great for cutting small branches and firewood while camping or for general yard work. It can cut metal, palm fronds and apple tree branches but not recommended for anything over 4" in diameter or for splitting. The blade is carbon steel and rusts over time if not properly cared for, but can be kept clean and oiled when not in regular use with WD-40, motor oil or cooking oil. The saw's hinge gets loose and the blade may wobble when used, but this is easily fixed by tightening the hinge with a hex head, flathead or even a stick, rock or key. The locking mechanism may also allow the blade to "hyper-extend" backward, but it is unclear if it is a design issue or from overuse. The saw works well for its intended purposes, but may not be as durable for heavy use over time. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
