The eight notes of G, A, B, C, D, E, F#, and G provide a good range of notes to experiment with and create different melodies. The sound quality is good, resonates on tone, and is unique. The chrome finish gives it a better sound quality compared to the regular finish. However, it is not something to purchase if you are looking for an advanced level steel drum, as it only has eight notes. The two highest pitch notes are very quiet and flat, and it does not have all the notes required for playing certain songs. The steel drum is lightweight, movable, and easy to play for kids, and it can be played outdoors, but it's not recommended to leave it outdoors as it is still a musical instrument and needs proper care.
