The Ultra Low-Profile 35-watt Natural Light Solar Attic Fan is easy enough to install and is suitable for sloped asphalt-fiberglass shingle roofs. The product is not designed for low pitched or tile roofs or for use in greenhouses. While this model has a mesh circle around it, bugs may be able to enter. The unit is designed to draw hot air out of the attic and cannot be used to draw air in. The product is better suited for larger attics with multiple fans to cover the cubic feet and may not cool small attics sufficiently. This product should be installed where there is strong sunlight and is variable on the speed of sun it receives. The product is also quiet when running. The listing states 2100 square foot but it works on CFM. Rain can blow up under the hood and drip down into the attic during heavy rain.
