Can I use a regular wall adapter to power the DECA units?
Answer: No, the DECA units can only be powered by a smart device like a USB port of a smart TV, laptop, or router. -

What is the maximum speed offered by the DECA network?
Answer: The DECA network offers a shared speed of 200Mb/s, equivalent to full duplex 100Mb/s Ethernet. -

Is installation complicated?
Answer: No, installation is simple and involves connecting the units to your coax cable and power supply. -

Is this device supposd to work with a standard usb charger (e.g. for phone), or does it require something bigger - e.g. an ipad charger?
Answer: I would highly recommend the DECA packages that include an AC power supply vs this package which includes a USB power supply. -

Can I run this out of a coaxial wall socket into my PC? Will it work just like if I had an ethernet wall socket?
Answer: DECA speeds aren't going to be as good as you can get with cat5e and cat6. It specs to 100Mbps but I usually get more like 90 consistently. -

If the 12vdc input needs 1.5 amp (18 watts) then why is the 5vdc input only 0.5 amps (2.5 watts) and not 3.6 amps (to give 18 watts)?
Answer: The unit itself consumes only about 2 watts. -

How do i use power with the usb cables? mine is not working. i have the usb cables connected to tv and router ports for power.
Answer: Either you get usb power from a device like tv or router or you have to buy the dedicated power supplies. -

I have directv for tv and hughesnet for internet. can i use a coax combiner if i dont have an extra coax wall port near?
Answer: According to others it should work well with Satellite TV but not cable TV. -

Answer: This has to do with the units trying to sync with each other. -

It does not take power from att nvg589 router's usb port. what should i do?
Answer: Try connecting it to any other USB port available, from any other device which is near. -

Will this product work with connecting a coax to my Xbox 1?
Answer: To get an internet connection with your Xbox from a coax you need a modem/router. If you have a modem/router and have cable internet but want internet in another room you can get another adapter set called MoCa.
