Answer: The dual USB output has a total output of 5V 4.8A (Each 2.4A). -

Is it compatible with all types of bikes and ATVs?
Answer: It is compatible with any vehicle that has a 12V-24V battery, making it perfect for bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, etc. -

Does this charger have “mfi” rating from Apple?

Will this work with a car battery? i.e. can I hook this up to a stand-alone car battery to charge my phone/etc.
Answer: Yes. You need an SAE lead connector from the car battery, though. -
Question:
Is this a trickle charger for the bike battery too, or just to charge a phone while riding?
Answer: I just use it to charge my phone while riding which is what I believe is it’s primary purpose. As for using it to charge your bike battery I’m afraid I can’t help as I’m not sure how you could finagle that. It does work well for its intended purpose. -

What is the maximum input current drawn from a 12v battery assuming a maximum output load current of 4.8a is used? is 2.5a a safe assumption?
Answer: From my understanding, longtime, 12vdc trickle charging current is limited to 1 amp Max while monitoring. A great, cheap, alternative to dead springtime batteries! -
Question:
Is this waterproof? Just wondering if it is or not since I won't take it off after installing it.
Answer: Mine has not yet seen rain, through I assume it to be waterproof, being built to be on a MOTORCYCLE! And to be connected to a Cell 'Phone. It would be rather dumb for a manufacturer to not engineer in waterproof When not in use, mine is also hidden away inside a fairing pocket ( '83 Honda GL650I ), that would be difficult to get wet this side of riding in a monsoon. I only rarely do that, though in Florida a monsoon does come along from time to time! -
Question:
Does it need a fuse? 7.5 amps like for the trickle charger?
Answer: It plugs directly into the wires that are attached to the battery. It only draws maybe 4.8 amps when both ports are in use. There is probably a fuse already in the wire anyway. -

Is this for a usb c cable ?
Answer: It would have to be a usb to C conversion cab -
Question:
Is this weather/water resistant?
Answer: I would say resistant but not waterproof. I have mine installed under the hood away from belts, fan and engine. It seems to be holding up fine. -
Question:
Does anyone know if this will work with a qc 2.0 or qc 3.0 phone charger?
Answer: Don’t know. I use it to charge a car battery. This Does not store battery power it trickle charge electricity to car or bike battery.
