This ensures a high load capacity and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing a long-lasting and reliable product.
With a black Allen bolt torque of 55 ft-lbs and lug torque of 85 ft-lbs, these adapters are designed to securely fit your vehicle. The studs are pre-installed for your convenience. These adapters have a 6x5.5 (139.7mm) vehicle bolt pattern and a 5x4.5 (114.3mm) wheel bolt pattern.
They are mainly used for converting 6 lug Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, and other similar vehicles to fit 5 lug Chevy Mustang, and other compatible wheels. In addition to enabling compatibility, these adapters also provide a 2-inch thickness to space out your wheels. This extra spacing allows you to fit wider tires and rims, giving your vehicle a more aggressive and custom look.
Installation is easy. Simply unscrew and separate the two adapter pieces, then install the inner adapter piece using short open-end lug nuts with no more than a 13/16 hex. If your hub studs protrude outside the inner adapter piece, you may need to shorten the factory studs.
Bolt the outer adapter piece to the inner piece using the provided black Allen bolts. Finally, install your wheels using proper lug nuts that match the thread size of the adapter studs and the seating style of your wheels. Why settle for anything less than the best?
