The Green Mountain Vista, EZ-Glide Top Down Bottom UP Cordless Cellular Shade is a great option for people looking to keep light in while maintaining privacy. It is easy to install, taking only four screws into the top of the window frame, and snap in place. The product is of excellent quality and meets all expectations. Unfortunately, there are a few negatives to Consider. Firstly, the instructions are not up-to-date as putting the mounts 3-4" inches from the end will not work due to the internal mechanisms blocking the mount. It is recommended to put the mounts a minimum of 5" from the ends. Secondly, there are two plastic pieces that come with the blinds that are not mentioned anywhere in the instruction. It is unclear what they're for or how to use them, but it is suspected they have something to do with external installation. Lastly, over time, the blinds have darkened which could be due to dirt/dust or material color change over time. It is important to keep this in mind if planning to add these to windows gradually as it will affect the shade difference if placed next to each other. Positives: - Easy to install - Good quality - Meets expectations - Great value for price - No cords to pull - Top down, bottom up function works well Negatives: - Instructions need to be updated - Two plastic pieces with no clear instructions on how to use - Over time, the blinds may darken
