The Hiblow HP 100LL Air Pump is perfect for a pond or lake aeration system, with easy installation, a quiet motor, and easy-to-find replacement filters. Customers have found that it stays operational in all seasons, even as the weather dips below freezing. The pump comes with a 3-prong plug and a rubber adapter and clamps to hook up to a 3/8 inch air line (adapters may be required for larger hoses). The 90-degree adapter that comes with it can replace the side screw if you have an air line going to an air sensor in the panel. It is recommended that the air diffuser be replaced with a Matala 12" diffuser instead of the Rootscape large hose style diffuser. The pump is easy on energy and runs quietly. It's also durable: after hooking it up for just 24hrs, one customer noticed that the water had cleared. Even after two years, another customer noted no problems.
