The Fibroheat Fibropool heat pump is a popular choice for pool owners. The unit comes with two 1 1/2" compression fittings allowing you to use Sched 40 PVC to plumb the unit, with the installation process being easy for most customers. Although, some had difficulty with the gaskets on pipes being too soft, which caused a leaking issue - some replaced them with gaskets from Home Depot. The design is wonderful and the heat pump is silent. To keep the heat pump functioning correctly, it needed to be installed outdoors or, ideally, in a space with a lot of fresh air. The Fibroheat Fibropool heat pump delivers excellent performance for an adequate price, Considering it only uses a 20 amp breaker. It is efficient at heating up swimming pools, and it can maintain temperatures with ease. The heater only runs when water flows through it, so customers advise running the filter 24/7 to keep the temperature steady.However, customers have complained about technical issues with clock and scheduling to turn on and off automatically. Support took a long time to contact those customers, resulting in very negative impressions. Still, the Fibroheat Fibropool heat pump offers excellent value for money, along with efficient heating of swimming pools.
